The flight and trip were wonderful. My dad and stepmom are the warmest hosts imaginable and my sister and her family were staying with them as well so it was good fun. I was very sad that Lowell and Matthew weren't with me at my grandmother's birthday party so they could see everybody but other than that it was pretty nice to be on my own. The flight was especially nice. Of course there were no delays or luggage snafus because I was alone. They only lose my luggage when there is a breast pump nestled inside. We only sit on the runway for three hours when there is a 15-month old in my lap. The axiom of airline travel is an inverse relationship between number and/or severity of f*ckups and the quantity of time and/or patience one has. (Anyone want to do the notation on that? Not my specialty).
Currently starting my holiday freakout. Happens every year. The first two weeks after Thanksgiving I'm always scratching my head, wondering what all the hubbub is about and then I look at the calendar and realize there is only about two weeks until Christmas. Or four days until Hanukkah. Oh yeah. Crap. Excuse me, won't you? I have to go pull some greeting cards out of my a**.
Will you see if there are any in there for me? I've got some Febreeze...

My final final of finals week is tomorrow -- as soon as I'm out? University bookstore for spring semester's books, then a shopping spree up and down York Road, ending at a game-store because I'm going to need some video game violence to recuperate from the violence-inspiring crowds.
