Just in case you need more reason to take to the streets....

(I never watch the Bush SOTU. I like my TV and don't want to throw a brick through it. Consequently, I don't watch the SOTU.)

I just heard about that! I mean, god almighty, where to start... There go my plans to attend next year's SOTU wearing this:

Oh - and in the interest of full disclosure, and just so no one gets the wrong impression that I am not including myself in the ranks of the apathetic, ANTM and Trading Spaces are two of my favorite shows on television.

barack and i are buds so i can hook you up if you'd like.

but touch him and you die. he is my man.

Out of all of that important and hilarious shit, I came away with WTF, You speak Hungarian?? As I understand, it's a kind of alien language unlike anything else on earth!

I think Barack is our next big hope for sanity, but in my mind I can't separate him from that guy on ER a long time ago who wanted to date the woman who got HIV from her husband... Do you know the guy? What's his name?

Yeah - in my past life i lived in hungary and while there I learned hungarian pretty well. This little parlor trick comes in handy about once or twice a year when I either meet a hungarian or a linguist. Linguists LOVE me.

I'm not sure who you mean but sometimes I think Joe Morton (aka the brother from another planet http://tesla.liketelevision.com/liketelevision/images/lowrez/brofro212.jpg) would be perfect to play Barack in the future docudrama.

I'm a little late to respond but someone just sent this joke to me and I thought you might appreciate it based on your post:

This year, both Groundhog Day and the State of the Union address occur in the same week.
An ironic juxtaposition of events: one involves a meaningless ritual in which we look to a creature of little intelligence for prognostication while the other involves a groundhog.

Hope you had a great birthday :)

Ha! Me likey!
