Willa has the slowest growing hair on the planet. In the great scheme of things, this is no big deal at all, and I love her short hair - most people assume we cut it that way. But now her hair, at least the hair in the back, is long enough for pigtails. Oh my freaking GOD how I have waited (and waited, and waited) for this day. She ripped them out almost immediately, of course, but not before whipping them and twirling them around with her fingers while she stared in the mirror. She seemed almost as thrilled by them as I was.

omg... i love it!!!! great pic.!!!!!

For the record, my kid actually had way less hair than Willa at the same age. That said, CUTE!!!!!! I want to smoosh those cheeks!! What a great photo!
