It's ironic that I almost forgot to post about Sesame Street's 40th anniversary happening this month. Ironic because the name of this site is taken from that august program. As a wee bairn I saw the clip below and thought it the most hilarious thing in the world. "LETTER B! Get it? It's like LET IT BE! Oh my gosh, that's good stuff." (Paraphrasing.) I thought it was a good name for a blog since it's like a open letter and blog (and several other pertinent words) start with "B." (Yeah. Well, had I thought the blog would have lasted more than 5 months, let alone almost 5 years - good God- I might have given it more thought.)
Happy anniversary, Sesame Street! Thanks for providing me with a name for my blog, among many other things.
NaBloPoMo lives on. For today. (Now it's interesting, right? Like a cliffhanger!)
I always wondered if you got the name from Sesame Street.

When I was 9 or 10 years old, I asked my guitar teacher to teach me how to play "that Beatles song 'Let Her Be'..." - what with me being more familiar with this version than the original...
