In November I start hankering to knit and crochet again. It starts in October but I don't usually get around to it until November and then it's usually when I am doing this @!$^& NaBloPoMo so I dither at writing and I dither at making things and end up with bupkis on both sides. On top of that this year of course we have the novel writing (I am now using "novel" as an adjective only) and I've been doing some sewing too which means I am doing NOTHING except post on Twitter. And post here at 11:55 PM.
But here are the projects I would like to do:
Knit a shawl for myself
Crochet/knit some presents for the holidays
Learn new knitting skillz
Make some cute hats for the kids that actually fit
Sew some curtains for bathroom and upstairs hall
Make some pillows
Crochet some amigurumi for kids and friends
Here is what I will end up doing:
Start shawl for myself. About 6 rows
Crochet hat for Willa that doesn't fit. Frog it in a fit of pique.
Buy yet another knitting book and hope skillz are transferred by osmosis
Consider buying curtains but then balk at the price and think "but I could MAKE them" and let the stinking vinyl venetian blinds hang there for another year.
Make exactly one ugly pillow.
Crochet half an amigurumi. Carry legless, armless torso in my knitting bag for next few years.

Ah, I like this. I am laughing in comradic manner. Me, I go so far as to not buy my children new pajamas because I think Oh! I have a pattern for that! I'LL JUST MAKE THEM.
Big lulz, as the cats say. Big, naked, non-pajama having lulz.
